UNIQUE COMPOSITION AND SIGNIFICANT SAVINGS
When added to the resin backing on the underside of a standard "sandwich design" PV cell, TGM's thermally conductive filler―a proprietary compound of alumina, silica and carbon―can reduce the surface temperature of the cell by as much as 77-131 degrees F (25-55℃) and increase thermal conductivity up to 2W/mK. Our exclusive formulation is rated as high as 170W/mK,while conventional fillers typically deliver thermal performance of 25W/mK and cost up to 70 percent more.
VARIED INDUSTRIAL APPLICATIONS
Such steller efficiency ratings make our filler ideal for both crystalline and amorphous PV designs.Crystalline units' performance declines as their temperature rises. With TGM's filler in place to aid heat dissipation, cell efficiency jumps by as much as 11.25 percent. Amorphous silicon cells degrade under extreme heat―TGM's high heat capacity filler can dramatically extend their operating life.
Our filler also serves as an outstanding insulator, preventing short circuits when applied directly to electronics. It is an excellent cooling and insulating solution for LEDs, conductive industrial resins and epoxies, heat sinks and other electrical components where high thermal performance and affordability are critical.
